Winning Miss Teen North Carolina and being the first African American to do so in the Raleigh-Durham area!

What's your favorite food?
Do I have to pick just one? I love food! Pizza, ice cream, fruits, and veggies

What charity do you support?
No particular one, I believe there are several good causes and whichever one speaks to me at the time is what I support.

How would you describe yourself in one word?
Well, I'm pretty much AMAZING!!!

What is most memorable about your high school years?
Meeting, dating, and later marrying the love of my life:)

What is your favorite holiday? Why?
Christmas for sure. I love family time and giving the perfect presents to people!
What is the strangest food you have ever eaten?
Goat-head soup (with floating eyeballs and tongue!)

What's your favorite food?
Mama's poke chops, rice and gravy...not pork chops but poke chops. These are better!

What is something most people don't know about you?
I am heavily into cosmology and astronomy (not astrology). I love seeing and hearing about the wonders of our universe.

My children; they are the stars in my world!

What is your favorite quote?
To be or not to be...Seriously, my favorite comes from Jeremiah 29:11 "For I know the plans I have for YOU, declares the Lord"
